Many of my clients choose a nude photo session simply as an exciting and positive experience for their own fulfilment. Others have wanted to give a very special present to their partner, often as a surprise for a birthday, anniversary or Valentine's Day. Some bring their partner with them, perhaps to include in the session some photos together as a couple.

For all nude photography sessions, if it is practicable, I like to have a consultation before the actual shoot so that we can work out together how you would like to be portrayed and to plan the session. It is my job to help you discover how to look good naked. There are so many ways in which we can approach the subject – classical, romantic, abstract, sensual, erotic – the choice is yours.

As Gok Wan has recently been demonstrating in his Channel 4 series "How to Look Good Naked", a nude photo session is an exhilarating and empowering experience. It also has the added benefit of boosting confidence, usually much to the surprise of his subjects, who discover that there is really nothing to fear about being photographed naked.

During the session, you will be surprised to find out how quickly you forget any thoughts of self-consciousness and enjoy exploring the beauty of your naked body. It's a wonderfully liberating and worthwhile experience – all my clients tell me so – and a great confidence booster. What's more, it's great fun! You will find that you feel really good about yourself and for the rest of your life you will be very proud of the images we produce together.
